How to Get Financial Help:
To get financial assistance for your child to attend San Francisco Adventist School, here are some ideas that may help:

Ask your employer if they will consider making a donation to your favorite charity, which of course is San Francisco Adventist School. Some organizations make annual gifts to charities. We will then credit the gift to your child’s account.

Ask your church to apply for a Minority Fund Scholarship. Your pastor has access to the amounts available and necessary steps needed to apply for the scholarship.

Ask your church if they have funds to help worthy students. Some churches may provide up to $100 each month towards your child’s tuition.

Ask your church to consider collecting a weekly “Lambs Offering” that is used to help provide financial assistance for students to attend SFAS.

Ask your church to help get your child into SFAS by paying the registration fee.

Apply for a BASIC Fund Scholarship. Applications can be found online at Basic Fund.

Raise tuition funds by using a solicitation letter using the sample solicitation letter. Personalize the letter for your child. Send the letter to all your church members, family, friends, coworkers and potential supporters. Please contact our office if you’d like to include an informational brochure about SFAS with your letters.

Ask your child’s grandparents or other senior members of your church who like to help kids.

Ask your church to sponsor a movie night at SFAS. Members of your church can sell snacks and food at a Saturday night event at our school. The funds raised that evening can be used to help with monthly tuition.

Don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed to ask for help. Providing a Christian Education for your child is one of the most important things you can do for your child. There are lots of people who like to help students—let them know you have a need!
