Investing in Your Child’s Future

We believe every child deserves a high-quality Christian education, regardless of financial circumstances.  Here is how we can work together to make SFAS affordable for you.

A Note from Our Principal

"Please do not feel embarrassed to ask for help. Providing a Christian education is one of the most important things you can do for your child. There is a whole community of people who want to see your child succeed—let us help you find them."

Step 1: Apply for Major Scholarships

The BASIC Fund:

A privately funded program helping families send their children to the school of their choice.

The Guardsmen Scholarship:
Dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty, The Guardsmen provide partial tuition scholarships for high-achieving students from low-income families in the Bay Area. These awards help students access the supportive environment and quality education they need to thrive.

CCC Scholarships:

Step 2: Connect with Your Local Church

Minority Fund:

Speak with your Pastor about accessing these specific conference funds.

Worthy Student Fund:

Many local churches set aside up to $100/month for active members.

Registration Assistance:

Some churches are willing to cover the initial registration fee to help get your child started.

"Lambs Offering":

Suggest that your church collect a weekly "Lambs Offering" specifically dedicated to SFAS student financial aid.

Community Events:

Propose a movie or snack night at SFAS sponsored by your church. Funds raised from food sales can be credited directly to your tuition.

Step 3: Creative Funding

Employer Matching:

Check if your company matches donations to 501(c)(3) organizations. If they donate to SFAS, we can credit that gift to your child’s account.

Letter Writing:

Personalize our [Sample Solicitation Letter] and send it to family, friends, and coworkers. Many people, including grandparents and senior church members, love to support a student's growth.

Informational Support:

Contact our office if you would like SFAS brochures to include with your letters.
