Tonight we continue this celebration of our journey of life, by recognizing the many different cultures and languages with which we are making the journey.

Within our student body are represented at least 17 different countries—Africa, China, Costa Rica, Germany, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Samoa, Vietnam and the United States. Nine languages and dialects are spoken—Samoan, Tagalog, Spanish, English, Korean, Polish, Italian, and Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Some of us are first generation Americans and some are descended from those who came to America centuries ago.

We celebrate this diversity and strive to unite our hearts and lives as we strengthen our communities by being the best that we can be!

The Blue Angels will now sing “United by the Red, White, and Blue.”
