Dear Families,
I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend with your family and friends at church and at home. I’m sure your kids are enjoying Spring Vacation. Here are just a few things to remember for next week:
- SFAS Website. If you haven’t done so yet, check out our new website. It’s got a great new look. Lots of thanks go to Linda and Jacquie for getting this done for us.
- Spring Conferences. Our Spring Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, April 3. If you have not scheduled a conference with your child’s teacher(s) please do so quickly. You can do it all online at http://www.sfasonline.org/parent-conf.htm.
- Menus/Calendars. The menus and events calendar for April are included with this letter and posted online at http://www.sfasonline.org/current_month.htm. Please return your child’s April hot lunch order next week. Please remember, hot lunches must be paid for in advance. You are no longer being billed for lunches or lunch tickets. - Microwaves. There are no microwaves for student use at school. Please don’t send food to school expecting teachers/staff to warm up food for lunch. Hot water for Cup of Noodles is available Monday-Thursday.
Worship Service at Rainbow Church. On Saturday, April 26, students in grades 1-8 will be providing the worship service at the Rainbow Church. Children should plan on arriving at the church by 10:15 am.
Enjoy the rest of Spring Vacation and Cesar Chaves Day. We’ll see you back at school on Tuesday, April 1—no fooling!
