Dear Families,

  • The sun is very far away, very large, and very hot.
  • The sun helps us have day and night.
  • The sun causes shadows.
  • The sun helps us have seasons.

What do kittens like to do?

They like to nap

Pretend to sleep.

On someone’s lap.

Pat your lap.

They sharpen claws

Hold up both hands as if they had claws.

On their front paws.

Pretend to sharpen claws.

They like to stalk

Crouch down like a kitten.

Where people walk.

Pretend to stalk.

They pounce on feet,

Pounce!

Then look so sweet.

Smile sweetly.
