Dear Families,
This week I will be attending the Pacific Union Curriculum Committee. In connection with the work that I am doing in writing a new Kindergarten Curriculum for the North American Division, I have reports and updates to share with other educators in our Union and also listen for their feedback and input.
While I am gone, Mrs. Martell will be my substitute. I have left all the regular classroom activities and assignments for her to cover…things we would do if I was there.
During the week I will stay in touch with my class through the internet. I will have a web cam in my classroom and I can check in on them during the day. I try to talk to them in the morning and again in the afternoon before they go home. I will be back at school on Friday.
Don’t forget this Friday is Pajama Day. Kids can wear their PJ’s to school. If they are staying for after-school care, they may want to bring a change of clothes.
Our field trip to the pumpkin patch is next Friday, October 26. Permission slips will go home in your child’s folder next week. Children must be secured in an appropriate child passenger restraint (safety seat or booster seat) until they are at least 6 years old or weigh at least 60 pounds. Please plan to drop your child’s booster seat at school that morning.
Have a great week!
Mr. Robinson
