Make plans now to attend the Second Annual SFJA/SFAS Alumni Reunion in San Francisco!

 

Alumni Coordinator, Ruth Zemansky writes:

 

Upon numerous requests from last year’s reunion to have one joint church service, and thanks to the generosity of Rob Robinson, principal now at S.F.J.A. Alumni activities will start with church service at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillside Community Church located at:

 

 

For directions please visit their website at www.hccwired.org or you can go to Google or Map Quest for directions online. PLEASE NOTE THE OAKLAND BAY BRIDGE WILL BE CLOSED 08-31-07 FRIDAY EVENING 8:00 P.M. TILL 09-04-07 TUESDAY MORNING AT 5:00 A.M.

 

A potluck lunch will be served after church service. Please feel free to bring something to contribute if you are able to. Meat will be served along with vegetarian food. Shorts, jeans, and T-shirts are all acceptable casual attire for church service.

 

Mrs. Lewis will be honored during the church service for her dedication to the music program when she was the music teacher at S.F.J.A. Without her love, guidance, and passion for music, a lot of us would not have had the opportunity to learn and enjoy music.

There will be NO open house Saturday night at the school. Instead we will have a picnic lunch at the school Sunday from 12.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. You can either bring your own lunch or you can purchase lunch at the picnic. The cost for lunch will be around $15.00 per person, child or adult. Everyone is asked to bring your own drinks.

 

I only ask one consideration from everyone. If you plan on eating, please be honest and pay. Last year I had to put out a few hundred dollars extra for people who showed up, shared wristbands, and ate without paying. Thanking everyone in advance for your understanding in this matter. Since seating is limited at the school, if you have folding chairs and or tables, please bring them. Also, if you would like to help on Sunday please call me at numbers below. I could use all the help I can get. Thank you.

 

One last thing, please RSVP to me by no later than August 29th. In order to plan & shop for food, I will need to know who all is coming by that date. Prefer phone calls in the evening at home number please. Please, no phone calls after 10:00 p.m.

 

I apologize for the late notice but this year has flown by so quickly and with all the planning and preparation for my daughter's wedding, time just slipped away.

 

Looking forward in seeing all of you for alumni weekend. It will be a fun time for all!
