Welcome
to a world where you can think original thoughts, learn to read
and write well, ultimately expressing your very personal best. As
a bonus you will enjoy a collection of interesting and diverse characters--your
classmates!
My students are compassionate, caring and friendly, and will welcome
you warmly to our classroom. Since we are generally considered a
rather small class, this means that we have a close family-like
atmosphere, where peers support and encourage one another. We often
pray for each other in morning worship and after lunch prayer time.
I am always impressed with how sensitive my students are, whether
a classmate is upset about a very short haircut, or the ill health
of a much-loved grandparent.
I
value the unique talents, personality, and skills of each student,
and look forward to growing together. I anticipate challenging students
to use the great mind that God has given them in every discipline
from Art to History to Language Arts, believing that each one possesses
extraordinary gifts of insight and intellect.
