It’s good to be back at school after the Thanksgiving vacation. It won’t be too long until Christmas vacation will be here (December 20–31). Until then, I know there’s a lot to accomplish in all of the classrooms!

World AIDS Day Support
This Wednesday our school raised over $100 to provide loving care to an infant infected with HIV in Irkutsk, Siberia. Thank you for your support of World AIDS Day! Our help will provide all the care needed, the food, medicines, and love, for one child for 50 days. Thanks again for showing your compassion!

Dickens: A Christmas Carol
Monday, December 6, the junior high class will be going to the Palace of Fine Arts to watch a stage production of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”

School Christmas Program
Our annual Christmas program will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening, December 15, at the South San Francisco Municipal building. A Christmas dinner buffet will be available before and after the program. Directions to SSF will be sent home in a future Friday Focus.

Christmas Vacation
There is no after-school care on Friday, December 17. School is dismissed at noon that day for Christmas vacation. School resumes Monday, January 3.
