Pacifica Performance To Be Re-scheduled Student Award Winners This event is an international art and writing contest that originated in India in 1949. Today the competition has grown and about 160,000 entries are received from over 130 countries. An international jury judges the entries. Students
in grades 3-8 continue to perform extremely well at the ITBS tests
that are administered every fall. On the whole, our students are
testing at or above grade level. 
Miss
Linda (our performing arts teacher) has the flu and will not be
able to make it to the Pacifica Church for the grades 4-8 performance
tomorrow. We’ll reschedule a new date after the first of the
year. 
Congratulations go to Erika Torres and Victoria Santiago! Both students
are 2004 award winners in Shankar’s International Children’s
Competition.

There is no school next Thursday, November 11. We are closed in
honor of Veterans Day.
