the paper copy of "Friday Focus" which was sent home today
with your child.
If you haven’t scheduled a conference, please contact your
child’s teacher directly.

This past Monday our whole school participated in a “Festival
of Cultures.” They all had lots of fun and learned a lot about
five different cultures.

Friday Focus in Email
Many families are receiving each week’s Friday Focus (along
with all other school communications) in their email. If you aren’t
receiving weekly emails from the school it could mean one of three
things:
- We don’t have your email address on file. Send us your
email and we’ll add you to our database.
- Your email address has changed. Send us your new email address
and we’ll update our database.
- Your ISP is blocking email from Constant
Contact®. First, make sure you have added office@sfja.org
to your email address book. Then make sure this address is on
the "allowed sender" list of your email provider, and/or
is NOT on the "blocked senders" list. If that does not
work, the immediate solution is to use another email address with
an unblocked domain so you can receive emails from our Constant
Contact® email service. If you don't have another email
address with a different domain, you might use a free email account
through Yahoo!
or Hotmail.
Or, if you have Internet access, you can always read
the Friday Focus online on the school website (it is always
there just before the email version gets sent out).

Church
Next Saturday morning, November 6, grades 4-8 will be singing at
the Pacifica church for the worship service. Students need to be
there by 10:30 am. Directions
can be found on our website and will also be sent home next
week.
