Dear Parents & Friends of SFAS, Let’s hear it for every one in grades 3-8! They finished the ITBS tests yesterday. Yea! I know they did their very best. Today
was our all school trip to Balboa Park for fun and games. Teachers
had a variety of fun activities planned for their classes. Everyone
should have come home tired out—I know I did!
Tomorrow
all students in grades K–8 will be putting on the church service
at the SF Central church. All students should be in the fellowship
hall by 10:25 am. 
Next
Thursday, October 7, the kindergarten class will be taking a field
trip to the Farmers' Market in Daly City. We’re going to look
at the variety of fruits and vegetables available in the fall. We’ll
also buy some fresh apples that we’ll use to make applesauce
in our classroom.
Our
Walk-a-thon that was set for Sunday, October 17, will be rescheduled
for next spring.
