Monday we have my infamous enchiladas for hot lunch. Some like them spicy, some don’t. There’ll be plenty of enchiladas to meet everybody’s palate. September Tuition
New Requirements
School Field TripNext Friday is our all school field trip to Balboa Park for our picnic. This is our time to celebrate completing the ITBS tests and have fun. Parents are welcome to come along with us; however fingerprint clearance must be completed in order to go with us. Children's Sabbath

Next
Monday begins ITBS testing for all students in grades 3–8.
These are standardized tests that are given annually to see how
children are learning and progressing. Please make sure that kids
have plenty of rest next week and that they have a good breakfast
before coming to school. This will greatly help them!
The
September tuition payments should have been made by now. The statements
for the October billing have been sent out. Tuition is due on the
first of the month and is late if not received by the 15th. If you
have any questions about your statement please contact Mr. Youngberg
at 415-585-5550, ext. 11.
There
are some new requirements for parents that wish to accompany a classroom
on a field trip or wish to volunteer in a classroom. This extra
precaution is being taken to keep all of our kids safe. All parents
must now have fingerprint clearance. This is done at many police
stations. Forms are available in the office. If you are interested
in accompanying us on any field trips during the year, please pick
up a form immediately! An appointment is needed at the police station.
The cost for the clearance is currently $18. Our school would be
willing to reimburse you for the cost of the fingerprints if you
would like. Simply submit a receipt from the police station to our
office. Thanks for your help with this!
October
2 is Children’s Sabbath at the SF Central church. All the
kids at our school will be involved in that program and will need
to be there that day. More information and a map will be provided
in a future Friday Focus. 
Our
Walk-a-thon that was set for Sunday, October 17, will be rescheduled
for next spring.
