Dear Parents & Friends of SFAS,

We survived our second week of school—incredible heat and all. Hopefully that was the end of our hot weather!

School Picnic This Sunday

Our school picnic is scheduled for this Sunday, September 12, from 3:00–7:00 pm. There will be a BBQ, lots of good food, a jumper, Jamba Juice for sale, some incredibly fun and wacky games, and scheduled times for families to meet with their child’s teacher for Back-to-School Night. This is a school day for the kids. Come and have fun with us.

To help with the picnic, the following classrooms are being asked to bring the following items:

• Kindergarten: Potato Chips
• Grades 1-3: Hot Dog Buns
• Grades 4-6: Hamburger Buns
• Grades 7-8: Potato Chips

School Pictures

School pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, September 21. The order forms will be sent home with next week’s Friday Focus.

September Tuition

The statements for your September tuition billing will be mailed home next week. Because they are a week late in being sent out, we will extend the tuition due date by a week. Instead of being due by the 15th of the month, tuition will be due by the 22nd of this month. This exception is for this month only.
