Dear Parents & Friends of SFAS, A new school year will soon be off to a great start! Monday is the first day of school--it's a minimum day (school is out at 12:00 pm). After-school care will be available until 6:00 pm. Minimum Day Schedule

If you are interested in having hot lunch available for your child please purchase a hot lunch ticket. (An info sheet was sent home with your child.) In addition, there will be time when your child's teacher(s) will have time to meet with you and share their plans and expectations for this school year. I look forward to seeing you, too. A minimum day schedule does not include lunch. On minimum days hot lunch is
not available. Children staying for after-school care will need to bring their
own lunch on those days. 
Our Back-to-School Picnic and Open House is coming up soon--Sunday, September
12, from 3 to 7 pm. This is considered a school day for all students. We're
going to have lots of good food to eat and fun things to do here at school.
