On Thursday, March 17, 2005, six students from San Francisco Adventist School attended the spelling bee in Fresno. Our students walked away with more medals, ribbons, and trophies than most other schools. Way to go! The awards are as follows:

• Jeremy Pulumbarit: 3rd place for grades 3-5 team spelling
• Mercy Onyike: 3rd place for grades 3-5 team spelling
• Mary Inaudi: 3rd place for grades 3-5 team spelling; bronze medal for 5th grade individual spelling event; and FIRST PLACE for grades 3-5 individual spelling
• Jing Enriguez: 2nd place for grades 6-8 team spelling; bronze medal for 6th grade individual spelling event
• Joash Youngberg: 2nd place for grades 6-8 team spelling
• Ernest Ly: 2nd place for grades 6-8 team spelling
